Seamless connectors were designed to allow easy assembly and disassembly of a plywood wall panel. I got inspiration from a snap button, sketched it, modeled it in Rhino 3D, and ran some test prints.
After finding the perfect tolerance I ran several reliability tests and started assembly.
3D printed fasteners allowed to seamlessly and accurately assemble plywood panels as well as a radiator cover.
Research project
The project aimed to fabricate a prototype of the Maison Van Cleef & Arpels facade using 3d printer to represent multiple nodes and joinery connections.
